Bought this USB headset with the attached soundcard DSP thing and have been unable to use it thus far. I'm on XP SP3 and when I plug the headset in it goes through the detection routine- found new hardware as anticipated until I get a prompt "Device installer error. Windows could not load the installer for MEDIA. Contact your hardware vendor for assistance." I read the headphones were identical to an older model that had software that worked only under XP (Persono) and decided to give that a try to no avail. I don't need to disable the onboard sound on my Gigabyte DS3L I assume? Any ideas would be appreciated.
