It's been a while since I've posted in Hot Deals!

Plantronics has a nice little clearance section on their website where these deals come up every so often.

The Links
The link is here:

If you prefer not to sign up and deal with all that hassle, Newegg has the GAMECOM1 for 19.99 and free shipping here:

My Experience
The .Audio 90 and the "GAMECOM 1" are essentially the same headset (I have tried both). I got my .Audio 90 headest about 5 years ago and it has lasted until now. This at least attests to their durability provided you're not a headphone abuser. Recently my mic has stopped working, but this was actually only my fault.

If you are getting your first pair of headphones or just need a decent pair for a good price, this is definitely the way to go. On top of that, it is probably the most comfortable headset that I've worn. This makes it great for longer gaming, music listening, programming sessions etc. I could never justify spending a lot on a set of nice headphones to find that I could only use them for 15 minutes before they become too uncomfortable to wear.

The only people I wouldn't recommend getting this are real audiophiles. The audio quality on these are NOT THAT BAD! They will at least compare to the sound quality you can get from really good 2.1 speaker setups. The bass is fine, there's in-line volume adjustment, and a nice little clip that you can use to keep the really long cord from getting in the way.

EDIT:
Also according to Creig, S+H is a flat rate no matter how many you buy from the Plantronics site!

Plantronics must either still be making the .Audio 90 headsets or have a HUGE warehouse of the things somewhere. They've been selling for $8.95 + S&H since the beginning of the year.

The nice thing regarding shipping (if they're still doing it) is that it's a flat rate of $7.95 no matter how many sets you order. The four sets I ordered for myself and co-workers are still working perfectly and sound great. I doubt there's a better deal on low-priced headsets anywhere.

I didn't go through the entire checkout process to find the shipping cost.

I will add the $7.95 S&H to the OP.

I love my .90, t hey sound great, have inline volume and mute, and an extra long cord.
I guess maybe I'm not a true audiophile, because I think they sound great for music too.

They are very comfortable and awesome for gamers that spend a long time with headsets on, and work great with Teamspeak or Ventrilo. Be aware that the earpieces are rather large compared to some gaming headsets, but that's a big par t of why they are comfortable.

If it weren't for the $8 S&H I would have bought one to have as a spare, but they can easily be found for $20, so that price is nothing special (but still a great price for nice headphones)

From what I gather, they are similar. The only difference I have seen (based on the reviews of others) is that the ear pieces for the 350 are soft plastic which promotes sweating for some. For the .Audio 90 and related GAMECOM headsets, it is cloth around the ears. That is the biggest difference I see. There may be a slight weight difference as well, but I haven't tried the 350s so I can't be sure.
