I'm looking for a new headset to use to for some recording work and came across these. I'm no audio expert but it seems like a pretty good deal for a USB headset.

Unfortunately, I've decided that I really want wireless so I'm going to pass on it.

I have this headset and its great. It does get a little uncomfortable after a couple hours, but that just lets me know that its time to come up for air.

Bought two. Extremely poor packaging, typical of Buy.com it seems. Both package in thin bubble wrap, might as well be paper, and stuffed into a single layer box. Both of mine are undamaged as far as I can tell.

Quality is good for the price. Plastic is cheap, the foam is cheap but the material covering the foam is ok. Because of these main two issues the headphone doesn't fit, rather doesn't adjust at all, nicely when you wear them. That's probably why it get uncomfortable after prolong use.

Cord is long and works in Win7 with hassle 🙂 Again, not bad for decent price but if you are planning on prolong use, please do yourself a favor and get one that can adjust to your head :/

I got the headset, and I think it's only worth the $17 their asking. It's not really very comfortable, and the sound is horrible. It is nicely balanced, but it has crazy harmonic distortion, to the point where rock or punk gets to be this steady stream of fuzz at higher listening levels. A far better buy, and you'll even save three bucks.

I got two of these, and they both suffer the same defect - they are deafeningly loud at one step above silence. They behave the same on a Mac and a Windows Laptop.
