I had one on the bottom of my foot when I was 16 and cut it off with a knife. Looking back, that was really f'ing stupid.

My dad had these pretty bad when I was younger. They can be contagious, so shower with flip flops. All of these treatments and they will grow back deeper up into your foot. There is experiemental treatment by taking Tagamet (heartburn meds I think?).. OTC works too. Take daily, let it build up in your system, and they will likely get smaller and disappear.

My grandfather said to rub it with a potato, then bury the potato in the yard.

Not quite sure of the logic behind that one.

And FWIW, "plantar", by definition, refers to the foot. Warts are warts .. plantar refers to location. It's impossible to have a plantar wart on your hand. Using the same naming convention, it would be a palmar wart.

Really? That's what you have to offer? Piss off.

Actually, he offered you much more than that, but you have chosen to overlook it, as well as other competent advice. Good luck with your witchcraft. I hope your voodoo goes real well.

Well, if the wart is still troublesome a dermatologist will eventually use a laser on it. You could always use that as an incentive. Kids love lasers. ;)
