Planning to do volunteer work for my local DNC

Went to the local DNC website and clicked the volunteer link. The website is horrible (Web 1.0). Indicated that I can do a web-site redo for them as well as helping any other way I can.

I got an email back from the chairman for the DNC. Wants to meet with me...

What do you guys think?

Interesting form letter response. Tell DWS to stop having debates on weekends.
 
Sounds cool to me. My personal relationship to them is that I delete all the email I get from them and all the other Democrats unread. I also don't contribute to the Democratic party. I'm my own kind of progressive liberal and Democrats are way way way too conservative for me. I'm a optimist, I have hope, I believe in the goodness of humanity. There is only love and love doesn't belong to a party.

In reality, when I meet this guy. I want to speak some politics with him in terms of my beliefs and my views of issues today (i.e. Trump). Just concerned is that too much for the first meeting.

Also, I feel he wants to meet me to make sure I'm not some mole etc... So maybe he wants this type of convo, not sure!!!
 
Tell him that you want to put a button up on the website for people to unsubscribe to the daily requests for donating money. But let him know that the button doesn't really do or change anything. Just feel good PR. Then you in!

Well, it sounds to me like you think their web site sucks and you can help to make it better. That sounds like a progressive outlook to me. I can't see how we could go wrong if everybody took something and tried to make it better.
