Planning on buying a Dell Axim X3I

I was planning on get a refurbed Axim X3I for $250 at the dell outlet store for IM'ing and browsing the web with my wireless router, is the 400MHZ cpu capable of doing this sufficiently? BTW is it able to run SNES emulation as good as the more expensive Ipaq 400MHZ counterparts?

Great display for ebook reading, good battery life with the wifi off (5+ hours IIRC) and you can buy a super-battery for longer run times.

No idea on the SNES or surfing.
