is it worth it to find a hotel within walking distance? how bad is parking on a saturday? tips? thanks.
 
well the la valencia is a nice place and there is hotel on torrey pines which is supposedly really nice but i dont remeber the name
 
Just get ahold of some UCSD students and tell them you'll pay them $80 a night to use their dorm room.
 
"cheap" and "la jolla" are usually mutually exclusive.

for affordable lodging within a reasonable drive time to LJ, the hotels in the Hotel Circle area are a good bet
