I don't know how many of you around here used to play Planetside, but I thought I would give a heads up that there are changes to HA and MA coming up. I stopped playing a few months ago, but I think I'll resub for this.

Lasher: reduced lash, faster ROF, reduced COF, increased clip size & AP mode
MCG: reduced range & reduced COF
Jackhammer: increased clip size and no longer instagibs REXOs


I think they're making the MA weapons more inline with one another so there isn't one that totally dominates anymore. Sweeper gets a bigger clip and the Punisher gets a buff too.

I used to like the game until I realized how horrible the balance was. Then I tried it a few years later, and noticed they didn't fix anything, and the population was 10% of what it was which made me sad.

Yeah the population is too small for me to care anymore.

I remember playing the demo a long time ago and it ran horribly on my computer. Then I think I heard that it was subscription based and never bought it when it came out. I didn't want to pay monthly fees to play a computer game when I could play my beloved Q3 for free.

I started playing PS during beta and then onto the retail version when it was released. Played for about a year and then quit, then came back about a year later and played for a while and then just lost interest again. Fun game if you have people to play with, but like others have said, the population is too small now, oh well.
