Well I downloaded from Direct2Drive and now the file won't work. As a matter of fact it is crashing Windows when I try to work with it.
 
Bump, I got the game running but my frames per second droop down below 10 in large firefights. Does anyone else have this proble? I have a brand new system so it should handle this game pretty well:

AMD 3500+
Gigabyte 6600gt
Patriot XBL 1gb
MSI Neo4 Diamond SLI
PC Power & Cooling 410w Silencer
Raptor 74gb

Get used to it, Sony/SOE are responsible for some of the sloppiest, most inefficient game engines in the PC gaming world.

Speaking of which.. why is it not surprising that people who think 'dawg' is a word and that it's cool to replace letters with numbers when typing like an SOE game? 😉
 
The problem your having is with one of the vehicles actually, try reinstalling, the best way to reinstall is when you have a day you won't be playing download the planetside installer, do a search on the forums. I used to have that problem and my machine is almost the same as yours, but it was only happening for me with the skyguard, something with the physics I think. But with a fresh install, I am maintaining FPS about 50 in the worst fights I have been in.
