In FF or IE, I can't get this to work (even after clearing cache and cookies). When does the $50 discount appear? Do I need to actually accept my payment mode information (Enter my CC info and accept it) or should the discount already appear on that page.

Thanks for any help. My buddy trying it from his house can't get it to work either.
 
I got all the way to Step 3 via PayPal payment with only "Submit Order" before going to Step 4 "Confirmation" and its not showing up as $29.99 so its not working for me. Would've been a nice deal otherwise, especially with the Best of Vol. 4 for $10.

The BBC version is 5 mins longer per episode, rather the Discovery version is 5 mins shorter per episode to fit extra commercials. Both audio tracks would require a little work because of this difference I suspect. Might be other legal/contractual reasons not to include both.

Also to note, the BBC (which I have) has zero extras. The Discovery version has some featurettes or something. the DVD version also has quite a bit of extras from what I read. I almost feel cheated by that, why no extras BBC? WHY?

I liked her when this was on Discovery for its initial release. Also, the theme was very American-styled badassness.

btu still, Attenborough is god. He shouldn't be replaced.

The real crime, though, is that neither version (BD or HD DVD) contains both audio tracks. Quite a travesty considering the format capabilities.

This worked for me..

I had added it to my Shopping cart but the discount of ($50) was not there..

I cleared cache and deleted cookies... same thing..

but then I "removed all items" from shopping cart and then added the set back in.. presto.. $50 discount.

the discount shows up at the bottom in the sub total area... not on the actual line item price of the set..

good luck!!

but I just ordered it 10 mins ago!!

No free shipping but shipping was $3.95.. not bad...
 
Still won't work for me...I just bought it off ebay from the discovery store...$37 shipped...a little more,but worth it.

I ended up deleting all temp/cache files, cookies, etc. from both IE and Firefox, then restarting the computer after closing the browsers. I think it defaults to a free shipping coupon code first, and then won't go to the hd dvd coupon code. All I can say is , keep trying.

I watched the Discovery Channel version featuring Weaver as the narrator; I bought the BBC version on HD-DVD a while back narrated by Attenborough and prefer it to the S. Weaver edition, but I'm partial to Attenborough's voice. The Planet Earth series was very well done, in my opinion and getting the Discovery Channel version for $30 is still a great deal, in my opinion, and worth the price.

So for those that ordered this initially--anyone received their set yet? I bought this with Sunrise Earth --buy SE and get PE free. I then contacted them and asked if I could add in the $10 best of set, and they added it. So far, i have only received the Best Of set--SE and PE have yet to arrive. They were also shipped DHL-Media Post or something like that and do not list a tracking number whereas the best of actually had tracking available.

I'm guessing they just came from different warehouses or something.

I ordered on 2/23 and still no trace of the package.

Everytime I am supposed to get items via DHL is it delayed for some odd reason and arrives a week late. Even though a major hub is about 30 minutes away they always fuck up delivery. Then they promise to send free shipping coupons and of course they never arrive. :roll:

 
I ordered on the original posted date. It took mine a couple of days to ship.

Shipping info said no tracking data available....Shipped USPS media mail most likely.

As of 3-5-08 no package yet.
