you guys are nuts. I couldn't STAND the cocky british accent. Weaver's narration sounded a lot more intriguing, and showed a lot more admiration. Both told the same information, so I don't know what the issue is. Either listen to some elitist spew out the information, or listen to a narration with a bit more optimistic emotion.

His career as the respected face and voice of British natural history programmes has endured for more than 50 years..

Somehow, I doubt that Weaver has more knowledge of and admiration for nature than Attenborough.

IIRC, the American version cut half an hour from the original BBC version. FWIW, I have the Blu-Ray BBC version, and it's spectacular.
