The plane left a local airport without clearence. It was tracked by the the helicopter and ignored warnings to land.It flew directly at the tower. Its reported on MSNBC as I type this.

OMG!!! OH NO! AIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! NOOOOOO!O!OO!O!!!! isn't really funny anymore. It's getting too persistent and annoying. Whoever invented that should have AnandTecher's show up at his/her door everynight to scream "OMG!!! OH NO! AIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! NOOOOOO!O!OO!O!!!!" at him/her as loud as we can.

Typical teenager. Ignoring warnings to land. Perhaps a few 30mm warning shots from a F16 would have been more convincing.

Yakko. It was first sentence in first post. looks like a 15 year old took off without clearence. If you know how to start up a plane, and get it off the ground, you do not fly it into buildings unless you are severly demented,or a terrorist,since that happens to be the MO of choice by Osama and company. I did not like it so easily dismissed,before the facts are in.

this story is still developing. Lets pray its an isolated incadent, like the jerk off that flew his cessna into the White House a few years ago.

Warning shots? Blow him into pieces too little to hurt anything on the ground when the debris falls down as an example not to be fcking around in North American airspace.

Tripleshot, I agree with you. However, we do not know what it is yet. But you sure jumped to conclusions. I'm giving the story time to develope. Personally I believe it was a terroist incident and if it was I hope he lived for a few minutes afterwards and had glass sticking out of his arse so he could feel the pain. But I don't want to be called a bigot by some of the people on this forum.

Actually they said the Coast Guard chopper was in the area. And some aviation guy is saying that he was too low and from looks was startled and hit the building.

I am just saying its just as wrong to say it is not a terrorist attack as it is to say it is without the facts. It could be a copy cat incadent for all we know. Lets just keep things in context. I can assure you,the military and coast guard sure didn't look at it initially as anything less than terrorism. They are on alert to react as if it is. We must remember that in our actions. If you startto quack like a duck,someone may think you are a duck,especially if you walk the walk.😉

It is NOT a terrorist. It is a sad day for this 15 year olds family. I hope no one else was hurt.
