Which LCD is better the Planar PV174 17.4" or the Dell 1702FP 17"?

I would like to know a few questions for those of you that have had the chance to see the Planar PV174 17.4" and Dell 1702FP 17"

Which one has the best constrast, picture quality, and controls?

Which one has less ghosting and better for gaming(ie: quake3 and counter-strike)?

I will be either getting two PV174s or two 1702FPs from dell.com whichever I think is better overall depending on the responses I read.

i have the dell. don't know anything about the planar tho. from the pictures i've seen the dell looks better cosmetically if that means anything to you at all. 🙂
 
i think planar should be much better for gaming, as it advertises much lower refresh time (25ms instead of 50ms), so there should be less ghosting

i got my sister the dell because it was cheaper (and it looks cooler🙂, and she's happy with it, but she doesn't game much.
