I noticed the other day the exhortation to put the bottle of yellow mustard in the fridge after opening but Ive never done this. Yet Ive never had a bottle go bad on me. Ive also seen other makers of yellow mustard not even mention this.

Do you put your in the refrigerator?

ps. Yes, I do refrigerate fancy mustards like Dijon, etc.

Fiancee comes from Spain where they don't refrigerate many food items we do here. So she can't stand cold mustard, ketchup, and even most drinks like water and sodas.

You shouldn't refrigerate it, FelixDeKat.

I refrigerate mine, so it doesn't spoil, which would perhaps result in deadly toxins. But don't refrigerate yours. Keep enjoying it as you have. :whiste:

You do that with natural peanut butter to slow down separation. Sometimes I do, and sometimes I don't. I keep my house cool in the winter, so the peanut butter usually stays in the cabinet then.

The worst I've seen is maple syrup.

Why in the name of God would you refrigerate syrup?

Because it says to refrigerate it right on the bottle and I follow the goddam rules, unlike a bunch of you other scofflaw punks. :colbert:

This is why you need to refridgerate most condiments, to prevent separation.

Ok, 3 things wrong with America :^D

Did you look at my post carefully? ;) :ninja:

Also...these weiners are pretty tasty. I can even gobble them down just nestled into some buns, no mustard at all.

My wife is a believer in lips, a-holes, and sawdust hot dogs, I can't eat those without tons of catsup, mustard, and sweet relish.

There's a real debate: sweet or dill?
