not shady places.but places your like ahh fuck that..no parking..major hassle to get in and out of.
the local subway is in a horrid spot.
i'd probably eat there 4x more than i do now if it were simply in a better/more accessible location.
i guess it true what they say about location.

are you asking for a specific place? ie i avoid irving street on the weekends cause it's always packed? or i avoid chinatown cause i don't want to get boogered on by some old man/woman?

ya like a specific joint, somewhere you would eat more, shop more but don't because its always a major project getting in and out.

Any place I can think of like that is trumped by travel distance.

this pretty much sums it up for me. i would hang out in philadelphia more but it's tough to get to and i'm really impatient w/ stop and go traffic. (I live in a northwest suburb 10 miles out)

There's only one "big city" in my area of Vermont, Burlington. I don't generally don't go there because they don't really sell anything that isn't available elsewhere and I'd have to pay for parking and dodge all the college kids that jump into the street while consumed in a weed haze.

But seriously, I tried to think of something the other day that I could only get in Burlington and a drew a complete blank. All my main staples come from elsewhere, and those places are cheaper and easier to park to boot. Don't tell the Church street market place that though...they seem to think that store that sells dildos and that place that sells bongs or pipes (for tobacco only!) are real huge draws.

parking always sucks at Trader Joe's... I'll only go there on weekday afternoons and even then I'm driving around for 5 minutes waiting for a space to open (literally no parking, not just no "close" parking)
