Places to shop for presents in Santa Barbara, CA?

I'll be in Goleta, CA this Saturday, and am wondering if there are any good outlet malls, etc. around the area where I can do some holiday shopping. Any suggestions?

There is a small mall in downtown SB (sort of like Fashion Island in Newport Beach). SB is too small to do any good shopping I think.

Thanks for the info, that'll be good to know... do you know if there are any outlets within a 1-hour driving radius or so?

there is no outlet mall in goleta or SB. there is one down in Camerillo though... yeap.. ~45 mins drive from SB.

as for shopping... go to state street.

Just read the edit. 45 minutes south... I'll be driving over from Santa Monica, will that be 45 minutes out of the way? Do you think it'll be worth the drive? I haven't started holiday shopping yet. 🙁

The best outlet in SoCal IMO. 101 N exit Las Rosas I think (double check the exit)
I live in Sta Monica too. It takes me 1 hour from here.

Best outlet in SoCal, eh? There's an incentive. I wasn't too impressed w/Ontario Mills. Do you have a street addy so I can mapquest it, by any chance?

Ontario Mills is crappy. The Citadel in City of Commerce is worse. Desert Hills outlet is the second best.
Even the japanese back me up on this 🙂. The exit is on the little map.
