Places to buy PSU connectors

I've been googling but unable to find a place that sells parts for making your own adapter cables. I recently purchased a PCIe 6pin to 8pin connector that ended up costing me $17 shipped 🙁

If you know where I can buy these plastic pieces I would be very grateful. 🙂

I don't think that will work. The EPS power connectors "D" shaped pins are incompatible with PCIe connections. I tried to use a 8 pin EPS but it didn't line up. So I had to spend that $17. 🙁

Really wish I could find someone selling those pieces so I'll never have to do that again.

This place http://www.action-electronics.com/compidx.htm has a decent collection of connectors. Places like jab-tech and svc only have the common connectors or pre-assembled adapter cables.

Won't work. The shapes on the 8 pin EPS do not match up with PCIe 8 pin connector.

Places like Mouser or Newark usually have a pretty full line of connectors too, but their prices are high (for those who buy with OPM)...
