Used the subject combo recently on a laptop CPU as a trial run for a 4770k...
The AS5 Cleaner comes in 2 steps: Cleaner and surface purifier... I used both.
I used both cleaner and purifier on the CPU heatsink and was disappointed how much the PK-3 "beaded up" on the heatsink... It was hard to get it to stick. Anyone know why?
On the mirror finish of the CPU it was "sticky" and worked as expected, adhering to the surface for cooling power.
Do I need to lap my heatsink for a Noctu 14 or just put paste on it and go...
