Pixel 8a

Bought my wife a Pixel 3a for her birthday several years ago, but was proactive and bought it a month ahead of time. Opened the box on her birthday and the screen was dead 🙁

Retailer wouldn't take it back because it was passed the two week return window. Finally got Google to repair it.

Kinda sucked.

Pixels are solid phones though, and the a series are solid mid-rangers.

Rockin a 4a 5g myself.

The kid couldn't wait and already opened the box and transferred all the data from his Samsung A15 to it. =.=v

So far after a day of use he had reported everything was solid. No issue what so ever. He likes the camera far better than the A15. I still wish Google would add a SD card slot for expansion.. I know the way the kid uses his phone, it is goign to run out of space in a matter of months....

I've been using a Pixel 7 since March '23 and it's been a solid device. Pretty much every Pixel I've had has been pretty good, at least for my uses.

The only one that maybe was giving trouble towards the end of it's relatively shorter life, leading to a replacement at least a few months ahead of schedule was a Pixel made by LG, the 5x (? the number and generation escape me).

My son said its totally worth it. Great camera, runs stable and fast. Unlike his Samsung which had reception issue (both wifi and data), the 8a has been rock solid.
Any glitching issues with the screen or scrolling problems while scrolling on websites?

Sounds great! I've been looking for a mid-range phone for a month now and I considered the Pixel 7a but the lack of SD card slot killed it for me :/ and the fact that no headphone jack.
