because looking at the pics, it's obviously not dead.
 
The photo is chopped.
Porcupines do not SHOOT quills.
A dog no matter how ill tempered cannot swallow (and live) a croquet ball.
I weep for some of you.

This was a picture of my dog after she got into it with a porcupine... Text. I had already pulled the majority of them out, she had a about 35 quills total.

I have seen pictures of other dogs with like number of quills to the original pics, and I don't doubt they're real pics, especially with the tenacious nature of pit bulls being what it is.
 
pitbulls are awful pets anyway. they keep mauling kids and innocent people. i'm quite glad that this one got what it deserved.
