I don't use stick deodorants because they give me armpit rashes, which leaves me with clear gel or spray.

I don't use antiperspirant, because it gives me swamp ass.

The old spice red zone deodorant spray smells pretty darn good and works decently. Not as effective at odor control as gilette clear gel (for the poster who can't stand gel), but if you combine it with pit shaving as pingspike suggested, it might work well for you. I too have made that observation about hair and funk.

Also, I have found I prefer putting my shirt on right after using a gel deodorant. My own experience has been that letting the gel air-dry seems to make my pits feel all sticky.

Also, on the subject of gels, has anyone else noticed that the first time you open the package, you can apply just a little and it slicks right on, but the closer you get to the end, the more you have to use? I wonder if it's from evaporative loss?
