The ship of Monkeys voyages across the ocean, the council of nine monkeys sleeps, speaks, eats... nothing is amiss as you sail through the dark-stars of a bleak ocean.

Night 1

The night passes peacefully, but ss the monkey ship lurches on across its ocean voyage the council of nine meets; The monkey council had agreed that they would rule as one, but it is obvious: One of the council must not actually BE a monkey, in fact: some may be pirate, ninja, or robot.

A vote will be taken, the one with the majority of votes, if not secretly protected, will be cast overboard for being a traitor to monkey kind!
Day 1

Alive, desperate to live, tired of life, is thrown overboard.

Alive is dead and the night beings
nigh 2

You are a member of one of three secret sub-groups:
Pirate
Ninja
or
Robot

but everyone is pretending to be a monkey

The rules are simple,

Be the last sub-group standing.

Every day there is a council vote and someone walks the plank.

Killing at night:
To kill someone at night your group must choose someone to act as assassin. The assassin will take advantage of the weakness of the other group; for this to work the individual to die, and sub group of that individual must be PMed by the assassin. Misinformation or a wrong guess will lead to the assassin's death. Sleepers may not assassinate until they are brought into the inner-circle of their group.

Awakening a Sleeper:
To awaken a sleeper your group must choose someone to act as an emissary. The emissary will show the sleeper what she or he truly is and bring her or him into the inner circle (chat for that group);

for this to work the individual to be awoken must be PMed by the emissary. Misinformation or a wrong guess will lead to the emissary's death. Sleepers may not awaken themselves.

When someone dies their role NOT revealed, but each investigator gets a free 'investigation' of the body.

Roles:
Sleeper - This person does not know what side she or he is on to start. Every night is given a vision with a 50% probability of divulging the accurate sub-group. Sleepers can't act as emissaries or assassins until they wake up, when they stop being sleepers and start being the awakened. Sleepers are usual 'villagers' but they are not sure which sub-group they are a part of. They can conduct night actions once they are recruited.

Lead The leader is a known member of the group. When the leader is killed all sleeping members of that group instantly awaken to their group.
(happy to let you sign up for this; if there is more than one person wanting it, or no one, it will be assigned randomly)

investigator The investigator is an expert on a particular sub-group and at night can choose one person and will be told if that person is of said sub-group.

Guard The guard can make one person immune from either lynch or death at night, every day.The ability of the guard to protect extends to any cause of death the protected may incur. The same person may be protected repeatedly.

The night action of investigation or guarding precludes that player from being an emissary or assassin.

Finals don't end for me until Wednesday. Will play if the game starts that day (or Tuesday night), can't if earlier.

are there going to be any powers????
also can we have them a bit balanced??
raise someone from the dead well that was too strong
compared to skip a lynch day
or able to plain talk to the game

You know alive, it's ok that you lost. Even though you tried to call the game as in the bag after a couple of days and mocking everyone.

Sounds like someone's a sore loser. You doomed your team after your gloating post.

I seriously doubt it, without hidden powers it would have played very differently. Strategy is thrown out of the window (hell, I didn't even know there were hidden powers in the game until something game-breaking happened).

ALIVE made his post with the assumption of using a hidden power, so he made the post knowing that hidden powers existed and still felt that the game was decided.

His gloating post definitely screwed some plans up on my end. I won't say we would have won, but everything involved in outing our affiliation certainly didn't help. And that's not to diss him too much or anything, because a lot of the earlier planning was thanks to him, but the presence of a necromancy secret power certainly didn't cinch it for JujuFish.

Thanks for the feedback, I shouldn't have added ruled mid-game.

So are you in?
