I think that the whole thing with pirated software is dramatized. I can just see some guilt trip commercial with starving kids in Africa and the seeming guy saying" What you don't have a enough time? You don't have the money? ....etc etc in front of the little ethiopians. Its because you pirate software, that they can't survive. lol!!

I digress. It seems some companies, like CAD and animaiton and photoshop, couldn't funciton if people didn't download their products to learn how to use them? Am I right or am I right?

there are legal ways to obtain versions of the software to learn on. you don't need to STEAL it.

Not saying you should, but it is a different side of the picture. If all pirating stopped I personally believe there would be a drop in content creation.

Its as simple as the owners of the program charging whatever they want for their product. Don't want to pay it? Don't use it. Are their some arguments in favor of piracy? Sure, but it doesn't matter.

there are other 3rd party learning tools, specifically for MS word and other m$ products.

quick google to prove my point.

there are other ways to learn the software without stealing it, most people can go to community college for a nominal fee.

I know underground hip hop and Electronica music producers depend on people to DL and sample their music to be known and to get more sales of Vinyls. theres on industry that has an advantage in MP3 downloading.

edu versions are super cheap for the same reason. Whatever you are comfortable with and use as a youth is what you will buy or use in industry as an adult.

not all edu versions are cheap...some are still several hundred dollars.
