Piranha Vs Catfish

Piranha are scavengers, unless something is sick or alot smaller than themselves they will most likely leave it alone. You can swim in a pond with them without them bothering you as long as you keep moving. What they will do is either nip at you or nudge you, if you respond they leave you alone. Just don't try a dead mans float.
 
ok i just got back from vegas and the bass died in the tupperware bin while i was gone..the water was from the tank, so it had all the proper parameters needed to house him while i was gone..anyway, the place seriously smelled like bASS... okay, well, i'm not feeding them that particular bass, since its probably got who knows what kind of diseases growing on it.. i'm either gonna pick up a feeder mouse tomorrow, or if you guys can think up some other easily obtainable live fish that you'd like to see them eat... post it here 😀

yeah but i'm really tired right now.. 🙁 i just got finished with a 4.5 hour drive and dont feel like going anywhere.. besides, they'll be even hungrier tomorrow
 
WTF codec is that?


I was *almost* about to buy some piranha's... but having never owned fish before the petstore person said they are high maintanence... bleh

how much did those piranhas cost you? how much a month to feed them? i might get some, depending on how much they are.
