I recently got busted for copyright infringement of "kicking and screaming" via bittorrent. I simply told my ISP them knowing what I did is borderline against their privacy agreement and they dropped it in a matter of a week.

Canada rules. the only thing you can get busted for is uploading mp3s. oh and robbing banks.. they frown on robbing banks.. arrrrrr

Hmm,
what I'm more so interested about is whether or not anyone has gotten caught by big companies like Microsoft for pirating their software, like their operating systems.
Or maybe Adobe, or Apple.

I mean of course the industry is all over mp3 and dvd piracy ;)

i thought RIAA/MPAA only goes after you if you "share" illegal files such as movies , mp3 etc

Verizon so I am safe if I don't upload :). (hopefully)

No, I have never downloaded anything blatantly illegal. *except maybe a few 2D games that were like 6+ years old already

Well, I don't steal, nor do I feel entitled to the work product of others.

So no, I cannot be caught for something I've never done.
