I was gonna buy one, then decided I wanted a real Windows 8.1 with Bing license. I just grabbed a Pico PI320. I'm turning it into a Steam in-home streaming client. Bad thing is the Z3735F doesn't support QuickSync, so it may not be that great...

Wow, pretty good value in that box! I wouldn't want to use it for Kodi, but jeez I know people with desktops that are worse.

The only thing that makes me nervous is Windows 8.1 on 32GB, but this thing screams "install Linux on me!"

I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean. The PIPO X7 includes Windows 8.1 w/BING 32-bit pre-installed. According to that page, it's a legit license. (Which shouldn't be hard, if MS is giving the licenses away at little to no cost.)

You're right Larry. Sorry I was thinking of the MeegoPad T01, not the PIPO. MS is not letting "Stick" products use the free Windows 8.1 with bing.

Anyway, I did spend a little more and bought this - http://www.amazon.com/Zotac-Z3735F-W...ds=zotac+pi320

It's pretty much the same SOC as the PIPO; pretty neat little box.
