Pioneer Car Audio

get it get it! 😀

i recently purchased the pioneer deh-p3100....and its a sweet deck....you definitely will NOT be disappointed man!

The deck that you mentioned has a TV-Tuner (it said so in the spec sheet)...how does a deck have a TV-tuner?? There's no LCD screen to watch tv on!!

I have a walkman that has a TV tuner. It just plays the audio of the TV station. --Can actually be pretty cool. Most of the time, you don't miss much by not seeing it.

BTW, Pioneer car audio stuff is SUPERB. --Especially the PREMIER stuff. I bought a $380.00 TAPE DECK (yes, I know) a few years back. I SPECIFICALLY bought a tape deck, because I wanted to have tapes AND CDs in my car, and the head I bought is a controller for up to somethin crazy like 8 multi-disc changers, and it has disc naming, etc. Of course, I bought a CD changer to go with it. If you buy the pioneer heads that control pioneer changers, and buy a changer with it, you have a DAMN sweet setup, and you will not regret all the money you spent on it.

Its a nice deck....but i'm a clarion guy myself. If you like that screen...you should see the clarion 9675..which will be my next deck. That pioneer is the one with the dolphins rt? All in all its a great deck. But there are better out there for the money. If you can get a good price on it id' say go for it. My friend had the 9200 and the buttons showed wear real quick though.

The 8200 is a very nice deck. Tons of feature for you to fiddle with. As well as some useful low and high pass filters built in. Overall its a really nice looking deck that can do just about everything. You might also want to consider some of the offerings from Nakamichi, Clarion as well others. Nakamichi has the CD-45z(20bit DAC) deck which is a very clean. Its a simple looking deck, and wont have as many features as the Pioneer 8200, but it sure is one of the best sounding decks out there. You can probably find it a little cheaper then the 8200. Online the 8200 goes for around 350ish and I think the Nak goes for around 320ish. Look around at www.woofersetc.com

I'd definately be careful about ordering there. I've heard about many bad experiences with them...though they do have some of the best prices around. I was gonna get my clarion there, but decided to wait till other places got it in stock. If you get the deck you'll be happy...thats IF you get the deck...

woo hoo, received my toy today (I actually went with Pioneer Premier 720 (similar as Pioneer 8200, only differnce is that it offers 2 years warranty for the same price) and simply love it! Excellent add-on for my car!
