For some reason my pioneer 105 isn't allowing me to burn cdrs anymore.I tested two programs & get a not able to burn disc at once error.I even flashed it with the latest firmware & i'm still getting those errors.Plz help me out as i was just burning acouple of days ago with np.

Can you still burn DVD's? Have you made any other system changes? Maybe uninstall your burning software and re-install it? Try another burning program?

EDIT: I see you did try another burning program. Nevermind that one.

hi,
same thing happened to my pioneer 105. ended up getting a replacement from mwave.com where i bought it. i was never able to track down why, it just wouldnt, even with a fresh clean install.
rma it.

I got it to work with this program called Alcohol 120%.I just picked to burn track at once & not disc at once.Everything has been working fine so far.

It's kind of weird that it doesn't support disc at once anymore.

And it is possible for CD burning to physically fail even if DVD burning still works because different lasers are used for each.

If you have this problem again, try a program called BatchDisc. It is freeware (at least the part of it you need is freeware). If you get the "can't finish disc at once" error, just pop the CD back in, launch BatchDisc (which will launch a DOS window), and type FINALIZE

Follow the on-screen instructions (basically just hit enter several times) -- it should finalize your disc and make it readable. This works for DVDs too, which is why I used it -- to save some DVDs that got the same error.
