Over at the wallet, people are getting these rebates back after about 3 months. I am still waiting on mine but its only been two months.
Last year(May-April) I purchased a Hercules sound card at Best Buy with a New Rochelle rebate. New Rochelle kept telling me that the mfg. hasn't authorized them to release the funds yet. They had all my submitted paperwork, no problem there. It took exactly 26 weeks for me to get my rebate. I had to send about a dozen emails to Hercules over a 4 week period before they would even acknowledge my emails. They finally gave me the email addy of the contact person at t(doesn't)care rebates. It took them 2 weeks to mail it. I was searching the web to see if others were in the same boat, they were. People who bought stuff on the weekend after Thanksgiving said their New Rochelle rebates did not come until June. Personally I stay away from any rebate to New Rochelle.

i bought this once before around thanksgiving and i recently called and it's in "the final stage," but it is with a different rebate house than this offer. i've heard that the government cracked down on the ones who were taking a lot of time and they are much better now.

TCA in New Rochelle, NY is the worst rebate fulfillment service I've ever dealt w/. I made an Excel sheet to track all my rebates so I'm not just making this up. Yes you'll eventually get your rebate but not after a long wait and phone calls + email.
If you're a college student moving frequently don't get anything w/ rebate from them 'cause it's hard for you to track your rebate.
I've been waiting on my $50 rebate for two and a half months. I keep waiting, waiting, waiting . . .

The rebate took a while. Also, the check was for the wrong amount. Got 25 instead of 50. If you do this and the rebate. Keep an eye on it. (I'll be calling them for the other 25
).
FYI, theres a free upgrade to 8.5 available from Pinnacle fixes some problems, was released about a week ago.
