Pinnacle Speakers

From what I've read Pinnacle makes a good speaker and I have a chance to buy this center channel for a really good price. It's pretty gigantic but hey they bigger the better right? I'm looking for a really good set of speakers and I figure this would be a good start to the collection.

There are some Pinnacle center reviews here but it doesn't look like the one you're looking at is on the list.

I looked around AVSforum a little bit...

One guy said "I bought a Pinnacle P5.5 center speaker on ubid new for $200. It's an incredible piece of work which I highly recommend." but that's all the info he gave.

On a different note, the Onix Rocket RSC200 center channel retails for $599 new also, and I'm very happy with it (if bigger = better, then this 46 pound beast must put the pinnacle to shame 😉)

A fellow wisconsin member, eh? Are any of these close to you? The best thing you could do is go into a dealer and listen to one to see if you like it.

I wish some of those dealers were close but none within even 50 miles. I think because it's such a good deal I will just get them anyways. Now the trouble comes with which center to buy. They have a 5 speaker center and a 3. The price difference is pretty large, but with my space I think the smaller would probably be better for my situation. I just don't want to later wish I would have bought the bigger one.
