Has to be the Beatles, they did more to change music than any bad before or after them.

vote to reflect that, and I agree.

I concur with your user name...

PINK FLOYD, FTW!!

We talking about bands who were more influential for the music industry in general, or which band had overall better music?

I'll go with Pink Floyd for better music. I like quite a bit of music from the Beatles, but enjoyable songs for my taste are more few and far between. But they had quite a range of style over their career. And that's why I'd say they were bigger for the industry.

I need not explain myself.

P.S. Wait, it also says... Dom! Ahaha, great. You sir are fantastic.

they are both really good, but for entirely different reasons. The themes in Pink Floyd's songs are way deeper than anything the Beatles did.

Some1 explain the appeal of Pink Floyd. The song with "teachers, leave those kids alone" or along the lines is just so... hard to describe.. kinda like the vocal parts are bland imo... or am i missing the big picture?

Whereas, the Beatles have timeless classics like Hey Jude, Yesterday, There are places I remember, etc

Yeah, you're missing the big picture.

elaborate, if it's the themes, I don't think the Beatles were every really about different messages. They had one central theme which was essentially the world is good and to spread the love.

Floyd is awesome and I think I would rather listen to a collection of their greatest hits over the Beatles greatest hits.

But in terms of changing music you just can't compare them as groups.
