But then again he isn't all of Pink Floyd.

Edit: it was "Pigs on the Wing" (Part 1) and there is a DVD of the tour available.

It also includes a great version of "Dogs". The DVD is worth getting for that alone.

Apparently, before the animals album, Dogs and Sheep were performed live as "You Gotta Be Crazy" and "Raving and Drooling".

What? This is a bad joke isn't it!

A few of the pieces were already in the Pink Floyd live repertoire as different incarnations. Dogs was previously known as "You Gotta Be Crazy", and Sheep was previously known as "Raving and Drooling". These two tracks were originally supposed to be released on an album with the whole Shine On You Crazy Diamond suite, but the band decided against it.

Ok, so none of you are true floyd fans if you do not know the answer to this question. Of course they did. In 1977, PF performed Animals in its entirety during their North American tour. I must say it was a great show indeed. I attended the concert at Jeppesen Stadium in Houston, TX. In addition to playing all of Animals, they followed that with the entire Wish You Were Here, and encored with Money and Us and Them. This concert was the first of four times I've seen PF perform live.

well considering that this concert was 6 years before i was BORN.....

So then, I doubt there is any video footage available.

Saw that very show in Cleveland stadium, and didn't care for it. Sound stunk! All the huge balloon animals in the world just don't make up for poor sound...
Did they play poorly or did the sound/mixing system just suck badly?
The stadium is (was) hard to fill with sound. No conecert ever sounded good there, except for Emerson Lake & Palmer, who set a HUGE pile of speakers at both rear corners, 180 degrees from the stage.
