Pretty much like any other tribute band. They sound really close, but the experience isn't the same.

That's not bad. I might just have gone to see Australian Pink Floyd if it'd been 30 per ticket instead of 50.

I saw them in Tauranga, New Zealand. They are excellent, one of the best concerts I've been to. I recommend them and will definitely go to see them again when they return to NZ.

Maybe next time, then, higher priorities came up.

They sound like the real thing, seriously. It's amazingly close to sounding like Pink Floyd (I've never seen PF live but I'm talking about their album sound). If the show is the same as it was when I went then the first half is mostly Dark Side songs with amazing light and laser shows, and the second half of the concert tells the story of The Wall with a full stage show which is amazingly well done.

Is The Wall still around? I saw those guys about 9 years ago on Halloween and they were pretty tight. Set the Controls, Astonomy Domine, Echoes...great stuff. And the usual, as well. I'd prolly only pay ~15 max to see a tribute, though.

But it looks like they put on a serious stage production so iono.

I went to a Pink Floyd laser show last year... the sound was great, but the 3-d experience was only good for about 30 minutes. Then I got tired and just wanted to leave.

I doubt I'll go back. Now going to see Australian Pink Floyd is worth it!

I'm not so bitter that RW left, cuz I think Pulse was freaking awesome, but their post-Wall sound really blows ass.
