Pinging problem

I'm trying to troubleshoot a small home network (2 PC's behind a linksys router) that I am setting up, and I'm having a strange issue. Both PC's are running Windows XP Pro.

-Both PC's can ping the outside world just fine: ping www.yahoo.com works great
-Both PC's can ping the router just fine: ping 192.168.1.1 works great
-Both PC's can ping themselves just fine.

here is the weird part.

PC#1 can ping PC#2
PC#2, on the other hand CANNOT ping PC#1

Does anyone know why this might be/how to fix it? Any help would be most appreciated!

Make sure your PC1 firewall isn't running, or any other firewall you might have running on that machine.

If you're using XP's built-in firewall, there are advanced options that you can change to let other computers ping yours, etc.
