How do I ping and find the DNS of a buddy on AIM ??

They don't give you the IP directly in aim, I guess you could do something like sending them a message and running netstat or something to try to get his ip but as for finding his dns I have no idea. This is assuming you can't just ask him/her for it directly for whatever reason

go to your command prompt, netstat

If you directly connect to someone on AIM then run netstat, you'll get their IP address.
