can i know the ping i'm gonna get if i know my connection speed or vice versa. And what's the highest ping limit for smooth gameplay?
 
a ping of 200 ms is the upper limit in my opinion.
That means that if you are running at 30 fps, someone else will lag 6 frames behind (so to speak).
100 ms is much better, though.
