so they finally finished expanding the fiber network outside of town where i live and I was able to get cable internet access again.. its been flaky the past week or so, going up and down for the whole subdivision, but when its up its great, I get 100% of my services's bandwidth limits, 1024k/128k up, which isnt great but they are delivering what is promised bandwidth-wise.
when I ping 204.xx.xx.xx -t (default gateway), I get 12-14ms steady, no dropped packets. seems good to me but I was wondering what you guys get, just to see where I stand. I get great ping times in q3 urban terror on certain servers (25-40ms). what kinda pings are you cablers getting these days
