ok I think it would be funny to cheese out my 1990 prizm since I have to drive it anyways.

Where can I find aftermarket things for it? Some Ideas I had:

1) custom interior dash/trim (spray on texture?)
2) new seats (only for the driver)
3) steering wheel and shifter. (these can be real as the current ones suck badly)
4) gauge upgrades ( ones that only look real)
5) engine upgrades? (stickers of upgrades only)

Im looking ot make it totally cheesy as you can see. So any other input? websites?

If you really want to cheese it out, buy everything from walmart and ebay, do not spend more than $200 on the project. If you want to do it right, sell the prizm and buy a nicer car.

Go to somewhere like Wal-Mart and get some spinner hub caps :D

Oh, and don't forget to plaster "V-Tech" all over the body :p

Go to the auto parts stores too - look for those little prizms you can hang all over your car. And lights. Lots of lights. Plug them all in to your cigarette lighter. Get one of those multi-adapter plugs for your cig lighter too, so you can plug in more lights.

There's a guy here with a ford escort, the older kind before they changed the body style, and he has lights ALL OVER the thing. At least two rows on the outsitde kick panels, from front to back...pretty easy to pick him out on the highway. Looks like cr@p!!

There was a page somewhere that had some kids make a complete body mod out of cardboard and duct tape. Easily under $200.

I've got some pics somewhere of some guy I saw driving up in Colorado, he had made his hood scoop and massive spoiler out of bare plywood. IMHO, the drywall screws are what made it really shine.

Is that the one that is basically a Toyota Corolla?

Even if you are doing this as a joke, I wouldn't put more than $10-15 into it. Starts to become a pretty pricey joke after that.

Dude, it's YOUR money and YOUR car...if you want to throw good money after bad, I say for it...visit your local "ricer shop" and tell them to "give it the works"...

can I spray paint the dash with something textured? That would be cheap and ultra cheesy

I need some dice in the mirror and the hula girl in the rear.

Make sure you don't forget to buy one of those whistles you can put in the exhaust to make it sound like a turbo spooling up.

Also, get a hood spoiler. Yes. They make them. It's a half width fricking wing you put on your hood in front, instead of on the back.
