and why do you have screens in the backs of your front seats when you don't have back seats?
 
the best part is that they didn't bother painting the shark fin radio antenna so it looks like ass
 
It has to fight for that title with all reality TV shows, all shows featuring rap/R&B/Country, any religious show, and most sports programs. Wouldn't give it the title of 'dumbest' that quickly.

i didn't know this crappy show existed until yesterday. only time i turn on the tv is for monster garage and the daily show.

agreed...all they do is makeover the exterior of the car with unnecessary and shameless plugs of TV and audio merchandise.
Those cars are sh!tty when they start working on them, and they are still sh!tty when they leave the lot. They make no mods to the engine which was probably on the breaking point anyway, and will now probably fall apart with the added wieght of 27 flat screen TVs and 15 sets of 22" speakers. :disgust:
 
I like some of their work, the paint jobs and some of their speaker encosures. Their custom work is usually pretty nice, the upholstery and whatnot. When they ruin the usability of the vehicle though, its terrible. Putting a pool table in the back of a truck for example.

One thing I always wondered....how many of those cars get broken into and have all the expensive stuff stolen? How long does it take? Somebody could make out with at least $5000 in 10 minutes with one of those vehicles.

It'd be nice for the first week...that's about it.
 
i saw that escort turned m3 and eventhough its not my cup of tea, you have to admit that they did a really clean job in the converison. Btw the screens in the back are for the cars behind you at a stoplight so when you play your pron they can enjoy it too.
 
With this show they make the cars so they're all show but no go. Frankly my idea of a cool show similar to this is where they took people's rides that needed to be fixed up and redid the exterior (non rice) and did major engine modifications. This would only work with cars that have the potential for performance enhancement and with some of the rides that have been on this show I don't think it could happen. Case in point, the VW Van.
