lol this is one of those stories where nobody would believe it. pilot crash lands, smack their car with the plane and runs away...

The pilot who ran from the scene of a crash landing at Boulder Municipal Airport this morning has been identified as Joe Curtis, 67, of Commerce City, and is expected to meet investigators at the accident site within the hour, according to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.

After skidding across Independence Road, hitting a car and shearing off a wing against a utility pole, the pilot grabbed a large black satchel from inside the plane and ran from the scene, ignoring another pilot's attempt to get him to stop, according to witnesses and investigators.

I know, I know, I will be busted by the song police on this forum, but it sure sounds like the pilot of the plane was smuggling something illegal, and his life will be under a perpetual microscope. The pilot better have it covered up really good, or it will be his last.
