Pileup in Sheboygan, WI

OMG! I haven't seen a link on the webpage yet, but CNN is reporting a massive pileup on I-43 south of Milwaukee (sp?).

They just got copters in there, and the place looks like a car junk yard. I can't imagine there are less than 20 dead.
 
Looks like ground zero where that pileup accord.

Did the cars explode or wtf happened? Hope everyone got out safe 🙁

Heard they've got "hazmat" (sp?) teams there from some tanker that overturned.

They say it's a fiery crash, so the cars must have exploded. 🙁

I doubt there were many survivors.
 
Sheboygan County Sheriff's Capt. Dave Adams said there were fatalities in the accident, but it was too early to know just how many.

They were showing video on CNN. But with this shooting in Fredricksburg, they've stopped showing everything else.

I hope your dad's okay. 🙁
 
that sucks big time. i know that stretch of road fairly well and when its real foggy you can only see about 1/20 or 1/10 of a mile.

Gobadgrs: I hope your dad is fine.
 
I hate morning fog. It delayed me for a meeting on monday here in Charlotte...there were 3 separate accidents on I485 on my way to work. This pileup reminds me of that one in Georgia/Tennessee not too long ago (I think that one was worse actually.) Also caused by fog...

No word yet? Maybe all the "cells" for cell phones are busy in that area (like 9/11 in NY).

I never heard from him and I still don't know where he is. Wasn't listed on the death list. No news is good news I guess....thanks for all of the concerns from you AT members.
