Guys please confirm that my memory and what I could find on Intel's website is correct: there is no such thing as a PIII 950 MHz. Do multipliers go as high as 9.5 anyway?
The mother of a kid I tutor asked me about a "good deal" she saw in the newspaper for a PIII-based HP computer at a shop here in NYC. She showed me the ad, and it was for a "950 MHz" PIII. My first instinct is, "Run away! run away!". It could be a typo (or I am totally wrong), but it makes me very nervous.
I would gladly build a box for them, but they don't have much money, and would really like a big-name warranty.
