Is there any variation of cache in these cpu's or are they all: 32K of L1, 512K of L2?

if there is, how can i tell whether mine is of one type or the other?
 
there are 2 flavours of p3 600! one is the old katmai core with off die
512 KB L2 cache & the coppermine core with 256kb on die L2 cache.
the L1 cache is the same in both if I recall correctly!

Find out what stepping type your cpu is. Do you have Sandra Sisoft program? I think cA2 is the one with Katmai with 512k L2 cache off die.
