Kind of a strange question, BUT I thought the PII's were at 256 cache, and the celerons were less, NOW I see the P4 at 512 L2 cache, and the celerons are at 256.

Is this right?

I just want a computer that will play game that say need a Pentium class computer. Does a P4 celeron qualify? Is the extra 256 worth the extra $75+?

Are there any games that wont run on a P4 celeron??

Looking to ugrade my sons computer, as he has an amdk6-2/550/3d and still slow.

thanks

PII = 512k cache @ 1/2 speed
PIII = 256K @ full speed
Celeron Coppermine = 128K full speed
Celeron Tualatin = 256K full Speed
P4 Williamite = 256K full speed
P4 Northwood = 512K full speed
P4 Celeron = 128K full speed. :(
