For you people talking like you know what you are talking about..
a Muslim can touch a pig. A muslim can touch a dog. A muslim who eats pork without knowing it will not be sent to hell. A muslim who gets shot by a pig bullet(?) or covered in pig blood will still go to heaven.

That link just says Muslims cannot eat pork and it describes halal meat.
Muslims cannot eat pork and I think Jews and Muslims have to eat halal meat, Jews call it something else.. but you can find them both at a grocery store.
That doesn't mean you can't touch the animal.
The Pork industry had bad lobbyists when the religion was formed. Anyone who thinks anything else: I have a bridge to sell you.
