After a bit of Google, I have found nothing that says Pigeons transmit and carry diseases that infect humans.

Of course, they carry and transmit their own "bird diseases", just like every other animal.

Hmm I'm not sure but I used to hear about it a lot, surprisingly there doesn't appear to be much information on it on google. I did find some articles that argue against it Text

Bird and Human diseases aren't generally compatible... I suppose it would be possible for them to carry a human disease, but I've found no mention of that..

Pigeons are a pet to many people.. If you search for pigeon disease on google, you get pet, race or homing pigeon sites.. all of which talk about diseases specific to pigeons(or perhaps birds).

The're a nuisance in cities because they've adapted so well, and yes.. they perch.. and sh!t.

It eats paint and metal since it's acidic, and its weight can be a problem on roofs..

The bird is now sulking on the neighboring roof, staring down on me.

Don't worry about it dude, they will find another spot and lay some more. Unfortunately it's the call of the wild... if the birds did feel sad (I do beleive that animals have feelings and changes in behavior in reaction to an event), it was only for a small amount of time. They probably will just go lay another set someplace else once they are formed inside the female pigeon. Who knows, it might be in the same spot again...
