Crap. It's not like I like the dirty birds but:

I was cleaning the porch and there was a pigeon on top of my storage crates. He's been up there and I always scare him off. I pulled his nesting material down with the broom and there were eggs in it, they crashed. They were regular eggs with no sign of bird in them, but it bummed me out. The bird is now back checking to see where its nest and eggs went.

They had that thing up and eggified in a couple of days!

I feel kinda bad...

wow...you actually feel bad about something like that? of all people...i wouldn't expect you.

There are mourning doves (glorified pigeons) that try to build nests on the columns of my patio...the eggs always roll off the edge and break, and they keep coming back trying to build a nest. The nest ALWAYS falls apart. Birds aren't that smart.

Hence the disparaging term "birdbrain".

Why would you take a picture of that?

Because he wants to be up for the role as the psycho kid next door in the "American Beauty" sequel.

Aww, that's sad. I would have just left it, what harm is it doing?

I used to have pet pigeons. :) They're cool... Why on earth would you call them dirty birds?
