Pierced bridge of nose...how much does that hurt???

Saw a guy working a cash register the other day that pierced the part of his nose that is the last bit of cartilage in your nose before it transistions into the bone from your skull.

I couldn't help but think that it hurt like a mofo.

if its cartilage then it should only hurt for a second or two, like having the cartilage of your ear pierced....now say if someone was to hit that part of his face THEN it'll hurt...
