Piece of the red carpet from 2002 MTV movie awards

So i checked my mailbox (snail mail) today, and i received an actual piece of the red carpet from the 2002 mtv movie awards....WTF?!?!

anyone else get a piece? why would they send me such a thing?? its freaky, and im wondering what i should do with it...any ideas??

this has no return address, and it only comes with a postcard advertising the movie awards.

it says postage paid red bank, NJ....and there are little red fibers all over the card...i suppose from the red carpet....but it could be something else...
