Hey everyone, I am 5 days into my Germany trip, and I am at the highest peak in germany. I have taken a lot of digital pictures, I will upload them on Thursday. This keyboard sucks. Talk to everyone when I get back.

Edit: Here are the pictures from the top. I trimmed them to 800x600 but have them in up to 2048x1536 if you want a background.

I just uploaded a more pictures to pics.bbzzdd.com, but its lunchtime. Ill link them later.

this one...how far do u think it is to the nearest peak? how far would u think it is to the peaks at the horizon? i always wondered stuff like this. im guessing 2 miles to the nearest peak...and about 50 to the ones at the horizon

I was once at the hightest peak of the Swiss Alps and was wearing insulated boots that had a steel toe. It didn't occur to me that at extreme hight's the steel toe would freeze like no other. I seriously thought some of my toes were going to have to be amputated.

No problem. And yeah, I have a more pics of the whole trip. I filled up my 256MB SD card.


I was using my Panny DMC-LC33. I love it.

It was only about 21F, but windy. Quite comfortable considering where you are though. Id hate to be there in January.


Aharami Did you mean more pics of the view from the top, or from the entire trip?
